GPR surveys have a few drawbacks like the inability to identify a utility type. But the use of top of the art EML systems allied with our surveyors experience we are able to overcome the difficulties of using the GPR and make the most of it as GPRs can work in areas of high ambient background noise (i.e. electrical sub-stations) and can detect metal pipes as well as plastic pipes.
